They get WRONG!!!
The biggest money making question you will be asked, as an author is not, “How much is YOUR book?”
It will be, “Can you help me write/publish MY book.”
I get it! I got this question WRONG for a long time.
If you are an author, you have had it happen to you a million times. Someone will walk up to you at a book signing or you will be sharing with someone about your brand new book. As you talk about your book, it happens… the person you are talking to is no longer focused on YOUR book. They are now focused on the book that THEY have wanted to write. It sounds something like this…
- I have always wanted to write a book. How did you do it?
- Can I call you some time? I need some insight on my book.
And my favorite…
- We have to get together for lunch one day so that I can pick your brain about the publishing process.
Ah…thanks but no thanks. My brain is NOT for picking!
Neither is yours!
You worked hard to write your book. You overcame every excuse that others make to not finishing their book. You were not granted extra hours in the day to write your book. You managed the distractions to your time and got it done. You either paid someone to show you how to publish your book or you spent hours learning it on your own. Either way, it wasn’t free. Why should you give this knowledge away for free?
Although my publishing company has published over 25 authors with over 50 books, I have also shown another 25 authors how to publish their own books. These authors have produced wonderful books and often attract aspiring writers and publishers that want to learn from them. This can be another stream of income for their business that utilizes their newly aquired knowledge. However, some of them are scared to CHARGE for this, because they fear that they don’t know enough.

I am Vanessa Collins. I am an author, publisher and Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP). But I started off as just an aspiring writer who wanted to eventually publish a book one day. That was back in 2009. Now I co-own 2 publishing companies (Heart Thoughts Publishing and Tahitian Black Companies) where we have published over 25 authors with over 50 books. I also own Vanessa Collins LLC, a business coaching firm where, as a certified digital marketing strategist, I am able to help small business owners, like myself, use digital marketing strategies to build their businesses by monetizing their ideas.

What does the program include?

You will have my handouts, PowerPoint slides and other teaching materials. Requirement To Complete The Program
Let me warn you, this program is NOT about fluff. You will need to work. You can’t just BUY this certification, you must earn it. Program completion will require the following:
- Attend the live classes or listen to the replays and pass all quizzes with a score of 70%. Don’t worry, you can retake quizzes several times.
- Complete all project work.
- Complete the apprentice projects by holding your own writing, publishing and promotion classes/coaching with at least 1 paid client in each.
